- Green Tomatoes (bought from some old farmer on the side of the road in overalls)
- White Flour
- Stone Ground Corn Meal
- Sea Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper
- Fresh Brown Eggs
- Canola Oil or your favorite oil
Get your big pan with 1/4 inch of oil slowly coming to Saute temperature (medium low)
Slice your tomatoes about 1/2 inch thick
Salt and Pepper your Green Tomaters
Dip in flour
Dip in beaten egg
Dip in Corn Meal
Place gently in hot oil (Slow fry on each side until dark brown) You don’t really want to cook to fast. You want the inside cooked through but not mushy. Experiment to your taste.
Let them sit for around 10 minutes covered before you eat. Tomaters seem to like this.
Hit em with some more salt and time to grub.
