Fried Plantains (Caribbean Style)


  1. Vegetable oil
  2. Plantains
  3. Salt

Cut plantains into 2 or 3 inch thick slices.


Fry until they start to turn brown and soft.
Remove plantains from oil and  smash with top of jar or instrument of your choice.
Put plantains back into hot oil and fry until golden brown.Remove from hot oil and salt to taste.friedplantains3
